Duncan Bennet
Vice President & Managing Director, VMware Australia/New Zealand
Duncan Bennet is responsible for the organisation’s operations across Australia/ New Zealand, one of VMware’s fast growing organisations globally. Duncan joined VMware in January 2010 and is excited to be hosting his first vForum as managing director for the region. He brings to the role vast experience from sales and management roles of multi-million dollar IT corporations, spanning over 30 years in Australia and New Zealand. This includes senior roles at organisations Sun Microsystems, Forte Software and Pyramid Technology. Prior to joining VMware, Duncan played senior leadership roles that included Vice President and Managing Director of Sun Microsystems in Australia, as well as Managing Director of the start-up Forte Software Corporation. Duncan is very keen to be sharing VMware’s latest vision and the road ahead, which will be presented at vForum and welcomes all of our end users, prospects and partners to this year’s conference. |

Tod Nielsen
Co-President, Application Platform, VMware Inc.
One of our visiting executives from Palo Alto at this year’s vForum is Tod Nielsen, one of VMware’s global co-presidents. Tod joined VMware in January 2009 and leads the company’s application platform business. Tod brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in enterprise software and application development. Most recently, he was president and chief executive officer of Borland Software, where he had led the company since November 2005. Prior to Borland, he served as senior vice president of marketing and global sales support for Oracle and was chief marketing officer and executive vice president of engineering at BEA Systems, where he oversaw BEA’s worldwide marketing strategy, operations and research and development. Nielsen joined BEA after the acquisition of his private company, Crossgain Inc., where he served as CEO. He also spent 12 years with Microsoft in various roles including general manager of database and developer tools, vice president of developer tools, and vice president of Microsoft’s platform group. Tod will be presenting VMware’s latest vision for 2011 and beyond, focusing on empowering customers with the knowledge and tools to build and deliver flexible IT services. |

Rod Johnson
Senior Vice President, Application Platform Strategy, VMware Inc.
Rod Johnson joined VMware in August 2009 as part of the acquisition of SpringSource and leads VMware’s SpringSource product division, bringing more than 15 years of technology and management experience. While at SpringSource, Johnson served as CEO since the company's inception and has become a leading authority on enterprise Java development as well as open source. Johnson remains actively involved in guiding the direction of Spring, the de facto standard programming model for enterprise Java applications, and is a member of the Java Community Process (JCP) Executive Committee (EC), which guides the evolution of Java technologies by approving and voting on all technology proposals.
Australian born, Johnson is excited to be presenting on the latest developments around Cloud Application Platform and will also be hosting the Cloud Developer Forum. This specialty track will be addressing IT teams who develop business applications, create multi-device aware web applications, design cloud architectures, and manage high performance infrastructure. Be sure to not miss this, which will be taking place on Day 2 (20 October) at vForum 2011. |

Bogomil Balkansky
Senior Vice President, Product Marketing, Infrastructure Product Marketing, VMware Inc.
All the way from Palo Alto, we’re excited to have Bogomil join us at vForum this year, who leads the product marketing team for VMware Infrastructure – VMware’s flagship suite for the datacenter. Bogomil brings more than 10 years of experience defining and marketing application and infrastructure software solutions. Prior to joining VMware, Bogomil was Group Manager in the Customer Data Integration business unit at Siebel Systems, where he played a key role in growing the business from inception to more than $75 million in revenue over three years, capturing leading market share. Prior to Siebel Systems, Bogomil was a product manager at CrossWeave, where he worked on defining a composite applications platform. Bogomil will be presenting some exciting new releases around VMware’s Cloud Infrastructure and Management at the conference, which is not to be missed. |

Raj Mallempati
Director, Product Marketing & Desktop Product Marketing, VMware Inc.
Raj is Group Product Marketing Manager at VMware responsible for driving the product marketing and channel marketing efforts for VMware Enterprise Desktop Solutions including VMware Virtual Desktop Infrastructure. Raj will be presenting the exciting release of VMware View 5.0 and the latest developments around VMware’s end user computing solutions. |
